Where we are

Our premises are a 18th century courtyard in the centre of Castle Douglas near the town clock. Castle Douglas is an attractive 18th century planned town in the heart of  scenic Galloway only 40 minutes drive from the M74 at Lockerbie. We are on the main shopping street in Castle Douglas which also features many interesting family owned businesses - a delight to explore in this corporate age.

History

They followed a tradition set by Alec's father James an upholsterer and partner in a W.T.Stewart, a long established business in Castle Douglas. The business is now run by Ian and his brother Kenny who together have over 35 years of experience in restoring, buying and selling antiques.  Stewart Henderson, who started work for us in 1995 is now a fully integrated member of the restoration team.
