A bell set incorporating a switching unit for use with Extension Plans No.5 & No.7. This bell set would be mounted close to the main telephone to enable the user to transfer calls, and give line access, to the extension user. The handle turned a magneto generator that rang the bell at the extension telephone. Often used in a Manager / secretary situation.
