can anybody help> my tickford has been stuck at Interpro for quite some time now, problem being that the computer is playing up, the car is running weak at high revs. Basically i need to know if i can get another ecu, get this one repaired or put a different system in? Some of you may remember me and the car, when we visited the nurburgring in 2001. I left you all behind on the extremely slippery/wet track and managed to spin out and clip the barriers, taking out my rear bumper and denting my rear quarter panel in the process. Totally gutted i can tell you. If anyone can help in anyway whatsoever i would be extremely grateful. It would be nice to get this car back to its former glory, but if i cant get this sorted out i might just sell it on or break it for spares. Replys to my e-mail will be welcomed and

I think this one was a press demonstrator for a while, although they say its build number 55, which is wrong as its a very early car ! Over to you Shaun, give us the low-down.....

To view more detailed photo's of the car, see Spurr Classic Car webb site, which has approx. two dozen photo's of the car. Shame I can't afford it... this partcular car came with the rarely taken up opion of Colour Coded Pepperpot alloys and P7 tyres (Very expensive). Now replaced with RS Seven spokes (13 inch). I haven't seen the car, but I would imagine it would be a good car to get hold off. Thants see how much she goes for?

The log book states that it is a tickford and it is one of the last to leave the factory. It was not modified probably due to lack of orders, but was still registered as one.

Well this ebay Capri does seem to be one of the unconverted cars just registered as a Tickford, unusual but nothing more than a standard Injection Special and not number 28 in any way shape or form. Check out the Tickford Calibra on ebay, oh dear, some people just need a damn good kicking !
