There was disappointment for Korfball fans around the world today as the 'live' vide feed provided by the organisers of the event failed to deliver leaving them staring at a blank screen and having to rely on the IKF updated match statistics on the worldkorfball.org site instead.

After the huge success of the transmissions at the European Championships by Korfball TV it seems a shame that efforts were not made to fund the Korfball TV team to be part of this major event and fans are left hoping that the problem is able to be resolved or that video from the tournament will soon be available on the Korfball TV site.

The transmission of video of high level Korfball matches on the internet greatly enhances the exposure of top class Korfball and is clearly something the sport will need to invest in in future years.
