Beetle Roadster Race Car Project
A strange little project that never really saw the light of day. It started life as basically a (very rough) bare '68 1500 body shell and floorpan, which had been donated by the local college, and a dream by a friend to build a cheap quarter mile roadster race car. All the work was done on-and-off over my four month summer vacation period from university. The floorpan/chassis was just about finished, but the body, apart from having some of the 'excess' metal removed, was never really started.
