Type 122 Industrial Engine
This was a sort of 'in-between' project, as a show-piece for display in my buddy Marc's concours '56 Panel Van at VW Action Show in 1997. It was found in a friend's yard in a sorry state, and of unknown original application. These engines were generally used for powering generators, welding sets, pumps etc. It was rebuilt using mainly NOS parts and displayed on a 'detailed' wooden shipping pallet!
