Coaching Responsibilities

The coaches' job is to supervise the training program. Gatwick Flyers coaching staff bring with them a multitude of experience (from a variety of sports) and are dedicated to providing a program that will enable them to progress towards the performers individual goals.

Each performer may train with different coaches depending on their specific requirements at that time, but in matters relating to coaching the senior coaches, Jacqui and Mike, have the ultimate responsibility.

Sole responsibility for the instruction of each performer rests with the Gatwick Flyers coaches and the practices are based on sound principals and are geared to both the long and short-term goals of the performer.

The senior coaches will make the final decision concerning which competitions are entered and the routines to be performed by each competitor. All squad members will be automatically entered for the grading competitions unless prior arrangement is made.

At competitions the coaches will advise at warm-ups and after each routine performed. (It is the parent's job to offer love and understanding regardless of their youngster's performance.)

When speaking to the coaches please try to speak to them before or after a training session - their time and concentration is valuable to your child. All of the coaches will be pleased to discuss any concerns or queries that you have, but please be considerate.
