Dear Mr Cass

CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY PRESS

Further to my letter 20 December, I am now able to inform you that your claim to repayment for the two years ended 31 December 1968 and 1969 is agreed.

The total repayment due from 1968 to 1975 is therefore agreed at £300,116.20, although in addition there will be repayment supplement due in respect of all but the £59.12 relating to the 1974 and 1975 dividends.

Unfortunately, I have not yet received the necessary departmental confirmation regarding the non-receipted tax and am therefore unable to proceed any further at present. The balance of repayment together with the whole of the repayment supplement due will be dealt with as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely

H A Marsh
HM Inspector of Taxes
