Some time after the Akme posting of Oxford's Saudi deal, the Prince Sultan University's web pages recording its agreement with Oxford were changed. For the benefit of scholars, Akme has kept the original pages and here recreates them as a single file.

HISTORICAL AGREEMENT SIGNED
 BETWEEN THE
 UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD
 & PSU

An important delegation from Prince Sultan University visited the University of Oxford on May 3rd and 4th. The delegation was headed by PSU Rector, Dr Ahmed Yamani.

The Rector was accompanied by Dr Abdelhafeez Feda, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Mr Daniel Guillaume, Director of International Relations, Dr Majed Al Mashari, Dean of CIS, Dr Kathleen Guillaume, Chair of the English Department, PSU Women's College and Dr Hanif Akhtar from the College of Business Administration.

The purpose of the visit was to negotiate and sign an Academic Cooperation Agreement with the University of Oxford.

After two days of meetings with the heads of several departments, institutes and colleges, both universities were able to identify several specific actions in the fields of exchange of students and faculty members, research collaboration, course development and joint awards programmes.

The Memorandum of Understanding which was signed at the end of the visit marked a historical moment for both the university of Oxford and Prince Sultan University.

PSU is the first University in the whole Middle East ever to sign such an agreement with the University of Oxford, and Oxford is the first University PSU signs an agreement with.
