College arms: "Azure a chevron between three nautilus shells or"

TEMPLETON College received its Royal Charter as a College of the University in 1995. Originally founded as the Oxford Centre for Management Studies (OCMS) in 1965, it took its present name following a benefaction from Sir John Templeton, the former Rhodes Scholar and renowned international investor, in 1983, and was renamed in honour of his parents.

The College is a thriving international community of academics, graduate students, and executives dedicated to management education and research. As the University's principal centre for executive education its mission, building on its reputation for combining rigour with relevance, is 'working creatively with the leaders of today and tomorrow'. As a specialist graduate college, it seeks to attract students who value continuous interaction with business thinkers and practitioners.

Set in 37 acres of parkland on the edge of Oxford, the College benefits from its secluded setting and excellent facilities, combined with easy access to the city centre, and, in particular, to the Said Business School. It has residential accommodation for some 20 graduates in its Egrove House complex and for 50 executives in its main building. The College's Information Centre offers an impressive facility for research and information exchange.
