2. You and I were having a long-running personal/political power struggle. exaggeration

3. You Persisted in persuading him to revise the book for us. NO

4. You gave assurances as to publication. NO

Finally, why on earth are you involved in this after transferring to being social sciences editor? NOT INVOLVED
