Matters arising from the Minutes
None.

Attendance at Meetings
Approval was given to the absence of Professors Atiyah, Boardman, Weatherall, and Williams from the meeting.

Report of Finance Committee
The Chairman of Finance Committee referred to items in the minutes of the last meeting.

Draft Reply from Delegates to Hebdomadal Council
After discussion it was decided that an amended draft should be considered by the Delegates at the next meeting.

College Publications
The title tabled was approved.

General Publications
The list of titles tabled was approved and permission given for the use of 'Oxford' in the title of The Oxford Children's Thesaurus.

Educational and ELT Publications
The title tabled was approved.

English Dictionaries 1984/85
The report was noted.

OUP's Academic Publishing and Information Technology
The paper was noted, and it was decided to put electronic publishing on the agenda of the meetings of Science and Arts Delegates.

Faculty Monographs Series
The paper was noted, and it was agreed that quotas on the rate of acceptance should no longer be enforced.

Clarendon Edition of the Works of Thomas Hobbes
The Delegates were glad to hear that ways of continuing the edition despite Professor Warrender's death were being explored.

The History of the University of Oxford
The report on progress was noted.
