International Encyclopedia of Linguistics
The use of the word 'Oxford' in the title of the Encyclopedia was approvcd.

Oxford Philosophical Monographs
It was the Delegates' wish that a range of opinion be sought on all proposals and that the selection of referees, from outside Oxford if appropriate, should normally be at their discretion. This view should be conveyed to the Oxford Philosophical Monographs Committee.
