Stony Live 2004 Sunday June 6th Part 1

Second day and I am in to full swing. Well that's what it seemed like in the Vaults at lunchtime. I was swinging between complete and partial memory loss as tried to remember the words of the song I wanted to sing. We had  an array on instrumentalists and not so mental ... ists as well. A Hurdy Gurdy, Mandolin, accordion, four string banjo, fiddle and a few guitars. A  band n the making.

This all bade well for the up and coming Bob Dylan tribute night in the Fox. (tentative link and off we go!!)

It was nice to hear some of the lesser know Bob Dylan stuff as well. Inevitably performed by the likes of Darren, Ian and Roddy and the delightful Sue Gray (see the pictures) all backed by a superb band that I think Mr Zinnerman would have been proud of.

I thought only right that I do my rounds as well so I popped on to see Packingtons Pound in the Oak Room of the Cock Hotel. It was nice to see that it was well attended. There was the usual array of medieval instruments. Enough in fact to turn Ol' Henry to drink.. however I suspect that was all those wife's he had.

Still in a popping mood, I dropped into see the Peartree Bridge Family. Who win the prize for the best hair and tattoos in Stony Live. It would of been nice to see more people in there but it didn't lesson there normal cheeky delivery of  good old rock.

Back to see what was Blowing in the Wind at the Fox and some great audience participation on those Dylan Classics. Excellent Night. See you tomorrow.

A reflective moment for Michelle

Where it all happens.

Can you see what it is yet?

Of course it the Bull Yard through the eyes of Derek Danielles
