I have been taking, pictures, drinking beer and singing songs all through this week I have had a good time. Lets hope we can see you all again next year.

"Well its all over… and its been one hell of a great week. Most of the events were well supported the numbers were definitely up on last year.. My waist line is a little wider and sleep has not been an option.
I hope you have all enjoyed yourselves and found something to your taste. I know I have. I say it often but it is worth saying. We have a very talented community and Stony Live allows us to showcase that talent and add a bit of spice with new and wonderful music. Celebrate that fact. I have had a great day on the Green today and it only added to all the other great days that we have had. This would be a long and complicated email if I thanked everybody individually but I truly want to thank everybody.
I want to thank all the bands, artists and events without which we wouldn’t have a festival. To all the Stewards and helpers that help keep us going under the Chief Stewardship of Dick Woodward. For all those help mix sound, hump staging and gear in and out of venues. To the gentleman in the Indian restaurant that saw me walking between venues every night and was so interested in what we do.
To all the License holders of the venues in Stony, with particular mention to Chris in the Fox, Gerry in the Plough and David in the Crown who have made me feel very welcome. To all those staff that serve us the beer that keeps us going. With a particular mention to Laura, Sue and Dan in the Fox, who always had my favorite drink ready before I’d even thought of it. To all the guys in the media that have helped us promote the event. With a particular mention to Sammy Jones at the Citizen, Lee Scriven at Milton Keynes News, Trevor Marshall at Horizon Radio… Big George and Toby Freidner and all the other guys at BBC three counties Radio and all the other journalists that have shown an interest. To Roddy for all his great art work, To Penny for printing the programme. To Reg for the web site. To all my fellow committee members.., Ken Daniels, Ian Anderson, Keith Smith and Matt Armour who run this festival.
And in particular some very big thanks to , Ian and Irene Entwhistle, Ian and Michele Welborn, Kate and Kevin Maghill, Ian and Sophie Anderson and Tim Hague who have put up with me all week. Yes they have been Andy Powell’d and I am so glad they are my friends.
Keep a look out on the web site and if you got any good pictures of things I missed send them to me and I can put them on. I will be updating it with all the pictures I have over the next couple of weeks
