Welcome to the Stony Live 2003 Diary. Over the next few days you can keep track with my exploits and those of the many artists that are taking part in the events. You probably may notice that there is a jump in quality from last year. Well,  I have upgraded my camera and my software and now have the difficult choice of which photographs I DON'T put on the web site. If you have some of your own either email them to me andy@stonylive.org or give me a hard copy and I can scan them in (You will catch me at most events... I'm the guy with the Austin Powers Glasses!) . At the bottom of every page of photographs you will find my miss spelt ramblings of the day. Enjoy!!!

Saturday  7th June. Kent Duchaine

His Masters Voice

and best friend Leadbessie

He went that way!

Everyone was dancing to the Delta Blues sound

Diary

Kent Duchaine, is a one man blues band with an incredibly powerful sound. With his distinctive Nashville Steel guitar, affectionately  know as Leadbessie, he has been compared to a Young Muddy Waters, by none other than Willie Dixon hinself!. This nights sold out performance was no exception. I was amazed to see so many young people dancing to just one man and his guitar.  There were even  people dancing on the tables, Kent was obviously enjoying this!!! as he put in an excellent performance. One of the funny photographs I didn't manage to take was seeing Bob and his mixing desk with just TWO wires going into it. But even so Bob made a good sound for Kent.

More tomorrow!!!
