Diary

I knew I was in trouble, when I walked into the Vaults bar, with my banjo over my shoulder,  and I heard the words George Fornby and I think the windows are dirty. Ah well I took it on my self to do  some education of the 5 string kind, but more about that later.

The session was pretty full. I have been coming up to this one for the last 20 years. In fact Matt saw me perform my first song in public and quite a few others besides. Matt has always been sitting in the corner and quite often Packy is sitting next to him saying "put your banjo on Andy" something I don't hear very often.. The session attracts people from all over, there are a couple of French Gentlemen who pay us visit, and one of them played a very unusual instrument akin to a bagpipe. I love playing my harmonica along with Steve who plays the blues. Steve is blind which I think makes it even more commendable. Well I nearly got a away with it, but the George Fornby fans wanted to hear some banjo, so we all joined in Duelling Banjo's at the end. Then I went to clean the windows.
