Diary Tuesday June 11th 2002
Still on my feet after four days. Although, if you had seen me dancing last night, you would argue that point. Last night we all put out glad rags on and headed for the ball. One the principle reasons why I took up music is that I know I cant dance. For confirmed opinion of that you should ask my wife!
The Dave King All Stars provided excellent dance music. And many of you provided excellent dancing. Also some blistering Jazz from Blue Jam and a short lyrical interlude from Dark Horse plus Andy Bridgemen on Guitar. I had a great time although the rumour that Mat Armour was going to be seen in a Tux (one apparently I started) was unfounded.
I even one first prize in the Raffle!! Make sure you ask me for my lotto numbers at the weekend.
Last night also saw the famous historical tour of Stony and as you can see from the pictures it was a beautiful evening and a successful event. (Note the crowd bulging out onto the road.
Anyway haven’t made up what events I am going to tonight, but either way hope to see you there. Also I need to stop any Rumours that all events at York House are cancelled. This IS NOT THE CASE.. Both the Blues Night (Tonight) and Outlaws Night are still on.. So No excuses I will see you there.
