DUNDEE - CITY OF DISCOVERY

Here are a few souvenir pictures from a day in Dundee, including a visit to the Royal Research Ship Discovery, which was built in the city in 1901.

About the Discovery

Weather:  Dry with beautiful, but watery sunshine.

		RRS Discovery moved to her present berth at Discovery Point in 1993.
		....behind the ship is the highly acclaimed Discovery Point Dome museum.
		The current Tay Rail Bridge was completed in 1887, and replaced the previous bridge which collapsed during a storm in 1879, carrying with it a train, and 75 passengers.
