As you can see, a change of winner from last year.
The 'Can't Play for Toffee Award' for last place had been contributed by Sebastian. Rather than win his own figure and plinth back he renamed it the 'Can't Even Manage to Finish Last' award and gave it to James Ewins.
Awards Based on Votes
Best 15mm Army: Fishmen (Alan Saunders)
Best 25mm Army: The Pretty Nymphs (Ken McEwan)
Most Innovative Army: The Pretty Nymphs (Ken McEwan)
Best Terrain: Pirate waterway and jungle (Andy Thomas)
The Sportsman Award: Ian Thompson (with Ty Grover-Jones a very close second).
The weekend raised £77 for a charity whose name escapes me
I hope Steve will find time to write a full organiser's report in the next few days, but I hope I speak for all of those present when I thank him once again for the efforts he has made arranging this event, as well as his work over the last few days making sure it all went to plan. This included spending most of his lunchtime today re-entering all of the scores for the first six rounds owing to a problem with the software he was using.
And although they probably won't read this, a big thanks to the Berkeley Arms Hotel for putting up with us once again.
