| 1 | Flyer @ 2AP | Eagle Ally | 2 |
An elven army based loosely on the Noldor in JRR Tolkien's 'The Silmarillion'. Edain are allied men. The aim was to create an army with a 'combined arms' approach.
Virtually all of the figures in this army are from Irregular Miniatures. The Champion is the Elf Swordsman, accompanied by a Standard Bearer. The Knights and Horse are the Elf Cavalry; the Knight element has three figures on the element, the Horse only two. The Elven Spears are the Elf with Spear (four to an element) and the Archers, the Elf with Bow (three to an element). The Edain are four assorted spear armed figures from the Viking and Saxon range. The Eagle is a Wood Elf Warhawk from Games Workshop, without the rider, of course, as he would be too big. The Stronghold is a castle, given away by Disney with the video release of 'Sleeping Beauty', painted and mounted on a scenic base.

| 1 | Behemoth General @ 4AP | Wise Old Ent | 4 |
| 2 | Behemoth @ 4AP | Old Ents | 8 |
| 4 | Warband @ 2AP | Huorns | 8 |
| 2 | Lurkers @ 1AP | Woodmen | 2 |
| 1 | Beast @ 2AP | Beorning | 2 |
Another army based on Tolkien. Ideally the whole army really ought to have been Behemoths, but this would be illegal under the rules. Huorns are animated trees herded by the Ents. Since they could not be behemoths, Warband seemed the best classification. Beornings were man/bear shape shifters. The woodmen were designed to represent the Woses; these were not allied to the Ents in the books but one feels that they could have been.
The Beorning is a polar bear Christmas cake decoration, painted to look like a brown bear. All other figures came from Irregular Miniatures. the Ents are ... Ents, from the 15mm range, one to a base. The Huorns are Ents from the 6mm range - they are about 25mm tall so are still quite impressive. They are based two to an element. The woodmen are Mohican Indians from the American War of Independence range. They are armed with bows, clubs and tomahawks and are based two to an element. The stronghold was scratchbuilt from twigs, green-dyed sponge and garden stones.

This army makes use of the lovely Cyber Samurai made by Kremlin Miniatures. Most of the figures or from this range, apart from the Ashigaru Robots which are from Peter Pig's sci-fi range. The army is more than 24Ap in order to allow plenty of choice.

| 1 | Knight @ 2AP | Queen, In Parlour | 2 |
| 1 | Knights @ 2AP | Maid, In Garden | 2 |
| 8 | Blades @ 2AP | Four And Twenty Blackbirds | 16 |
| 1 | Flyer @ 2AP | Little Jenny Wren | 2 |
This army was produced for the 'Kings and Queens' themed HOTTBAP 2006. The connection is obvious.
Although nominally a 15mm army, the King, Queen and Maid were 25mm figures from Steve Barber's Medieval Tournament range. Their classification as knights was purely arbitrary. The King and Queen are seated on thrones, with small scratch-built side-tables on which are, respectively, some money (made from the 'holes' from a paper-tape writer) and some bread and honey (scratchbuilt from milliput and a bead). The maid has a washing line (fuse wire) with some tissue-paper clothes on it. The Blackbirds are bird-headed men from Chariot Miniatures, classed as blades because they are armoured, armed with sword and shield and in a single regular pose. Little jenny Wren is not so little, and is a repainted plastic figure from a Cadbury's Yowie. The stronghold was a miniature pork pie on a small plate, and did not survive the tournament.
