Wargaming South and Central American Conflicts

This page has grown out of a realisation that a number of projects I was undertaking, or just playing around with, were based on conflicts in South or Central America. I thought that it would be a good idea, therefore, to hold resources I had found or created in a single place, for the my own convenience more than anything, but also for the convenience of other gamers. The links held here contain all sorts of useful information for gamers who wish to try games set in this area of the world. I hope to provide links to background information, scenarios and more; anything of relevance to the wargamer really. For the purposes of this page, I will consider anything related to the Americas from Mexico southwards, including the Caribbean. The focus will tend to be on pre-20th Century conflicts, but this is just a personal bias.

I have split the page up into a number of sections, each relating to a particular conflict. If a section becomes large enough then I will split it off to form a seperate page. This will generally be areas in which my gaming interest has got beyond just reading and planning to the point where figures have marched across the table.

If you own, or know of, any sites that I can link to, or have any information you would like me to include here then let me know.

This page has no connection with the journal of the South and Central American Military History Society, despite the title being the same. The journal is an excellent source of information however, and worth investigating.
