Those who wish to do further research on this topic can do no better than read the Finnish national epos "The Kalevala", edited by Elias Lönnrot, oneself. Oh yes, and "j" is pronounced in Finnish like "y", "ä" like a in "cat" and "ö" like e in "her"; "h" is always pronounced.
