Introduction
In 1968 the Deloks attempted their first invasion of Earth. One of their attacks saw the space-dragon Tigan launched on the Far East. Devastating Jakarta it headed north, and arrived in a Tokyo stripped of defences as troops were redeployed to meet other Delok thrusts. But the Deloks had reckoned without Earth's native kaiju - as Tigan arrived above the city it found Kajiro and Nijira waiting for it.
This two-player scenario has Kajiro and Nijira allied against a much stronger Tigan.
Alien Forces
The Alien Player has the 45-point Tigan.
Earth Forces
The Earth Player has Kajiro and Nijira.
Setup
The map represents Tokyo. Place one skyscraper in the centre of the board. Both players take one skyscraper each and place them anywhere on the board. Most of the board is cityscape, but up to one-sixth may be shallow water, representing Tokyo Bay. Objects suitable for throwing (lorries, trains, ships and so forth) may be placed around the board if desired.
The Alien player randomly determines their start edge, and places Tigan at the centre of that edge. The Earth player then randomly selects an unused edge and places Kajiro at its centre. They then randomly select one of the two remaining edges and place Nijira at the cnetre of that edge.
Special Rules
There are no human units in this game and, for simplicity, no attacks will start fires.
Kajiro and Nijira are considerd to be allied, although points have not been spent for this. They roll for initiative separately, however.
Any kaiju may leave the table at any time. It does not count as defeated, but cannot return for the remainder of the game.
Victory
The game continues until only one player has active kaiju on the table.
The Alien Player scores 1 point for the following: Each Earth kaiju defeated, each skyscraper destroyed (regardless of how it was destroyed).
The Earth Player scores 2 points if Tigan is defeated and 1 point for each skyscraper still standing.
The player with the highest total wins.
