History: It is thought that leakages from a chemical plant in Northern Spain were repsonsible for the preying mantis kaiju that was named Mantidora. For weeks it ravaged the Spanish countryside, defying all attempts to track it down, and it was only when its insatiable hunger drove it to the city of Madrid that military units were able to corner and destroy it. A expedition to the area from where it was believed to have originated found a clutch of huge eggs, which were placed in suspended animation and taken for study.
