Tongue firmly in cheek here is a quick stab at a NASA army list for HOTT:

1x Heroes (Neil Armstong, John Glenn, etc)@ 4AP |

2x Riders (Lunar Buggies)@ 2AP |

2x Shooters (Astronaut armed with golf club and supply of golf balls)@ 2AP |
|
1x Blades (Astronaut with golf club sans balls)@ 2AP |
|
1x Flyers (Astronaut with rocket propelled back pack)@ 2AP |
|
2x Airships (Shuttle or Orbiter)@ 3AP |
Stronghold could be a Landed "Eagle" or whatever the real name is.
Alternatives could be more Heroes, Artillery in the form of SaturnV rockets or V2, or Magician in the form of a "Mad Professor".
(Alan notes: Anyone wishing to try this army might be interested to know that Airfix have rereleased their Astronauts set. Fans of 20mm plastics will have no trouble fielding these forces. They even do the lunar lander as a kit)
