Basically, Rand Whillock - a fairly new edition to the local group - put together an army of rodents (hamsters, rats, mice, etc) that made use of some fine figures from various manufacturers, toys - some obviously ... er ... borrowed, yeah, borrowed from a child, and scratch-built creations worthy of a demented genius. He also had a well-thought and creative fantasy explanation for the army. IOW, it was my kind of army.

More details? OK.

The standard units were some rat-like blade and spear elements. These were from figure manufacturers. Well-painted and HEAVY. My thoughts are that these might have been from Chronopia, but I can't prove it. Rand seemed to like to field one unit of halberd-wielding rats as his General element.

The behemoth was a scratch-built giant rodent (with mouse/rat) exercise wheel with spikey bits and scythes.

The Artillery was a scratch-built mouse trap on wheels adapted to fling things like stones or hard cheese. The crew seemed alert, too.

The magician was a few wizardy rodentials (rodentiai? mices....) from a figs company.

Finally, the shooter was those afore-mentioned borrowed toys - the seed spitting mice - complete with an assortment of real seeds! Sunflower and corn being the most conspicious.

Heaven knows what sort of rodents will show up in future editions. Bats would probably be a good guess.

Oh! Rand also brough a six-year-old daughter along to throw dice.... The army had everything, I tell you.
