The Sea Shall Give Up Her Dead

The list covers various legends and stories in which the dead return from the sea to trouble the living. The Flying Dutchman is a ghost ship doomed to sail the seas for all eternity. In Norse mythology, Hymir is a sea giant who, at Ragnarok, will the sail the terrible ship Naglfar, which is made entirely from the nails of the dead.
