Introduction

Whilst redesigning this site, it occurred to me that although there are plenty of army lists here, many of them are do not necessarily represent the armies that players use on a regular basis. I thought it would be interesting, therefore, to provide a forum for people to tell the world about thier favourite 'Hordes of the Things' army. Not just a theoretical army, or one you are in the process of bulding, but one that you own and use and that exists in solid lead (or pewter or plastic) reality.

That is the purpose of this page. I am hoping that as many of you as possible will send the details of their favourite 'Hordes of the Things' army to me, and I will post them all here. What I am looking for are basic 24AP armies with no rules modifications if at all possible. Perhaps your army will act as an inspiration to others; certainly it will, I hope, become part of a database of 'real' armies that reflect just how we use 'Hordes of the Things'.

What is the definition of a favourite army? Well, think of it like this; if you had to give up all of your 'Hordes of the Things' figures except for one 24AP army, which army would you keep?

Your contribution should include (but not necessarily be limited to) the following:

• Your name, or a reasonable alias.
• The name of the army. This can be as basic as 'Orc' or a complex as 'The Orc Army of Grimbock the Black, Summer 2341SA, Left Wing Division'.
• The composition of your army. Remember, it should be a legal 24AP army.
• The figure scale. Or given the variation in these things, the nominal figure scale.
• The origins of the figures in it.
• The background to the army, if it has one.
• Why you like this army; what sets this army apart from all the others you own. It is possible that this could be the fact that it is the only army you own! That's OK, send it in anyway.
• A picture, if you have one. If you don't then no worries.
