The stronghold for my WWI British 'Angel of Mons army. Construction was very simple. A small piece of hardboard with polystyrene layered on top and cut to form a trench. The figures were glued on and then I used Tetrion to texture the base and covered it in sand. I formed a small flat area 40mm by 40mm so that I could place an unused element there; the army has two variants at the moment and the unused Horde or Artillery element is place as part of the Stronghold. I covered the Tetrion in sand and painted it muddy brown and dry brushed it. I then cut up some card and painted them as planks, I could have scored the card but I was going for quick and easy. The planks were glued on and then I flocked with static grass for effect. Scale: 15mm |
