The Battle of Suipacha
Alto Peru, November 7th, 1810
After their repulse at Cotagaita, the Revolutionaries occupied a position on the sourthern bank of the Rio Suipacha. Having received reinforcements, the Royalists attacked this position with 800 men, but were beaten when the Revolutionaries counter-attacked their left flank.
