The Tuatha Dé Danann and the Fir Bolg were tribes who fought for control of legendary Ireland, the Fir Bolg were the original inhabitants and refused to share the land with the Tuatha Dé Danann. There were a number of skirmishes but these lists are for the final, four day, battle.

On the first day, the Fir Bolg are victorious and kill many of the Tuatha Dé Danann, building a cairn from the heads of the fallen. The Tuatha Dé Danann won the second day's battle, but still the Fir Bolg took heads - sounds more like a draw to me. The next day, the best men of the Tuatha Dé Danann stood with their backs to pillars of stone and wood, so that the Fir Bolg could not use their weapons for fear of breaking them. The Tuatha Dé Danann won the third day, and themselves built a cairn of Fir Bolg skulls.

On the fourth and final day, the three witches of the Badb summoned the phantom army, led by the Morrigan. In response, César summoned Crom Cruach, who appeared as a gigantic skeleton with horns on his head. Crom Cruach occasions great slaughter, but is defeated by the bravery of the mortals on the army of the Tuatha Dé Danann. He disappears and takes César with him as a sacrifice. Streng fights Nuada and cuts off his hand. Eochai is killed, the sides make peace, Streng is rewarded by the Tuatha Dé Danann for his forbearance in not killing Nuada in the duel by being given Connaught.

Peace reigns.
