Turans
A Revised List for 'Hordes of the Things'

In the HOTT army lists there is a list for the Eastern types. Among them is listed the Turans. After reading the book Conan the Avenger (not one of the books i read previously) and one or two others I think the Turan list deserves revision. Like the Pict list.

Alternates: Hero General @ 4AP (King Yezdigerd on one of his better days.), Lurker @ 1AP ("That she devil Thanara..." of Maypur), Hero @ 4AP (Conan at Yaralet and Juma "a gigantic black from Kush...had retained his lance. With this he had skewered three of the stocky attackers..." at the Zaporoska River. But use Juma only with Conan). Note; Tatur and Conan are not used in the same army.
Not much different but more in the flavor of the books.

Stronghold: City Gate
Alternates: Magician General @ 4AP (Munthassen Khan with the Hand of Nergal), Flyers @ 2AP (Shadowy monsters), Behemoth @ 4AP (giant statue of multi-armed god)
Notes: This is the army that Conan faces with Juma. The battle is going Conan's way and then the "shadowy monsters" arrive and pretty much clean up. They are fast and all over the place but they are as strong as Dragons. Also, they are summoned and really kick *ss, so Dragons is a better representation. As I read the story though, Flyers is what first came to mind.
Munthassen Khan does not use magic in the battle but does later in the story. The Statue is also not used in the battle but is brought to life during a later fight in a temple/throne room.
