Jim Davis adds:

How about tanks? I would say they are bememoths but would be allowed ranged fire like artillery. 4 pts

I would also allow indirect fire by artillery, tanks and aircraft. Allow them to shoot targets even tho other elements are in the line of sight as long as one element can spot them.

Also do to the deadliness of modern weapons I would double the ranges of all shooters and artillery.

Charlie Benn adds:

Tanks would have to be Art. Slow because of jungle terrain. Not used as shock troops in the war but as fire support.

I also have a better Dragon-specter gunships ie;"Puff the Magic Dragon".

We figured SEALs as Lurkers and LRPs as Sneakers but Green Beret are good too.

You really do not need to alter the other rules, like range and stuff it still works.

V.C. could be warbands and sneakers/lurkers. NVA shooters. Or. . . better yet-do Tet! and have them be hordes! YAHOO man that would be real.

You could do Desert Storm too, same US list with all Hordes for Iraq and maybe a tank /Art or a SKUD/ Dragon.

For a Vietnam campaign, see 'Good Morning Vietnam'.

Paul Grace adds the following list:

Montagnards:

This is an army of Montagnard tribesmen, trained and supported by Special forces / Green Beret. I suppose a more accurate name for this army would be: Civilian Irregular Defence Group (CIDG).
1 Hero (John Wayne or Rambo) 4 AP
1 Sneaker (A Team) 3 AP
1 Shooter (SF advisers) 2 AP
1 Mage (Sniper / FOO) 4 AP
4 Warband (Trained Montagnard) 8 AP
3 Hordes (untrained Montagnard) 3 AP
Stronghold: Special Forces Camp.
General can be Hero or Shooter.

The figures are 20mm ESCI plastics and Platoon 20 metal.
