Welcome

This site is brought to you with the help of Air-Britain(Stansted Branch). The Branch meets at between 8-10pm on normally the first wednesday of each month at the TAKELEY VILLAGE HALL (for directions and 2009 dates click HERE). The meetings are open to all and we pride ourselves on the friendly relaxed atmosphere. Admission on the night is £3 on speaker evenings and £2 for all other meetings. The meetings consist of a mix of those where we invite speakers, slide presentations from our members and competition evenings.

The branch also has the latest Air-Britain publications available at meetings.In additions to meetings the branch organises visits to airfields, enters teams in the Annual Air-Britian competitions and helps support events at North Weald.

On the menu you will find details of Stansted's movements. These are taken from our Branch magazine, which is available primarily to our branch members. If you visit Stansted and would like to send us details of any sightings these can be sent to me for inclusion in the magazine and website. Through our close association with North Weald, a listing of the based aircraft at North Weald and visitors to the events held there are also on the site. I have also added some links which I hope you may find useful.
