Crouch End Vampires - or the 'Vamps', as we are known to our friends (and foes) - is an amateur football club in Muswell Hill, north London. We play in the Southern Amateur Football League (SAL) and are affiliated to the Amateur Football Alliance (AFA).

With seven teams divided on footballing merit there is a place for any would-be footballers as long as you're prepared for lots of mud and lots more beer! (Talented shower singers are also welcome). Founded in 1883, the club came about through a merger of Crouch End FC, and a south London side called the Vampires. We are one of the oldest and strongest clubs currently in the AFA and our 1st XI regularly provide players for the League and AFA representative sides.

We have a playing membership of just over 100 and around 150 in total. These members are centred, as you might expect, around the north London area but the weekly letter is sent all over the British Isles and beyond. Our most prominent outpost is that of FC Rood-Wit Wilrijk - an amateur club in Antwerp, Belgium. The Vampires have sent teams to the annual 'Paastornoi' (Easter tournament) for over thirty years now and our president Reg Swinburne is a Life-vice president of Rood-Wit. Each year we make the journey to Antwerp and are welcomed with unrivalled hospitality and friendship.
