In 1999 Margit and Hartmut took over the traditional island cottage at Daybreak, the small B & B business, the island craft shop and - most importantly - Sula the gentle shepherd dog. Soon the family was enlarged by orphan lambs and hens.
Margit and Hartmut invite you to become a member of the Daybreak family and experience life on a remote island. Enjoy home-cooked meals from fresh local produce in the sun porch with panoramic views of the Northern Isles and listening to the barking of the seals.
Daybreak is situated conveniently close to the centre of Papay - all sights are within walking distance.
Please book in advance as Daybreak has only two guest rooms and provisions have to be organised.
