Getting to Papay

There are at least two flights per day, six days a week from Kirkwall (one on Sundays), the largest town on mainland Orkney. If you fly via Westray you will enjoy the world's shortest scheduled flight - under two minutes! You get a certificate to prove it.

There are two direct ferry sailings per week. During the summer months you can also take the regular ferry to Westray then proceed by minibus before a final short sea crossing to Papay.
