AXA UK plc Key projects included:
- BPR on the processes, procedures and structure of the IT Procurement Dept: Identified key processes and procedures to be developed, dept. restructuring, drafting job descriptions and producing template contracts.
- Managing a ‘Preferred Suppliers Project’ for the supply of Professional Services: Producing RFP, scoring responses and conducting all commercial contract drafting & legal negotiations with final 4 suppliers at reduced T&M daily rates.
- Negotiating an Amendment Agreement to an existing market data information services contract providing a 3 year extension on improved legal terms and with a saving of over £400k.
- Negotiating a 45% price reduction (£193,500) on a tendered offer to supply a ‘Sickness Absence Management Reporting System’.
- Contracts Manager running the RFP / supplier selection, due diligence and contract drafting / negotiation activities for the AXA Life WRAP project offering tax-efficient financial portfolio management of clients’ funds.

A contract role assisting business users and IT management in identifying
and specifying system and service requirements. Responsibilities included;
contract drafting and negotiation, legal risk management and implementing
a number of master agreements. Contracts implemented included banking
financial systems, market data, consultancy, telecoms systems, software
licensing, hardware purchase, support & maintenance SLAs and escrow
agreements. |

the business and technical requirements for the outsourcing of IT desktop
