The Dawd Year. My idea for a new world calendar...

New month names. Bored of the old system. The names September. October and December are out of synch as their root means 8, 9 and 10 respectively.
13 months of 28 days plus one day at the end of the year for a world celebration.

13 x 28 = 364. Add one extra day, 364 + 1 = 365. Each 4 years, an extra day would still be required.
The months could be called anything really. They would coincide with the lunar cycles.

1. Mercury
2. Venus
3. Earth
5. Mars
6. Jupiter
7. Saturn
8. Solar
9. Uranus
10. Neptune
11. Pluto
13. Space

The 7 days of the week (yes I'd keep 7) would stay the same in some cases, such as Sunday and Moonday (Monday).

• Earthday
• Waterday
• Airday
• Fireday
• Starday
• Sunday

• The final/first odd day could be called Earthday (oops that's taken), or World Day or Peace Day...
