COMPANY HISTORY

Derek Young & Co was established in 1960 and has seen expansion in every year to date. In its four decades Derek Young & Co has grown into the largest Redditch based firm of accountants. Most of the growth of the practice has been generated by recommendations from existing clients and has been facilitated by constantly utilising the latest technology. Derek Young & Co were, for example, one of the first practices to use accounts production software back in the late Seventies.

We employ specialists in all areas of accountancy, personal and business taxation, payroll, auditing, computer consultancy, finance raising, business planning etc. This means that you are always able to get the best possible advice which can often lead to savings in taxation and other costs.

PERSONAL APPROACH

Derek Young & Co prides itself on its personal, friendly approach to clients. Whilst having a broad range of specialists at their disposal, the majority of each client's requirements are dealt with by the same one or two members of staff every year. The average length of service of staff in our Redditch office is more than a decade.
