Auspex is directly opposed to Obfuscate. A player may ignore any Obfuscate power used by a character with a lower Obfuscate rating than your Auspex Level.
Rank 1: Competent
Heightened Senses
Increases your perception and awareness of the world around you. All 5 senses are sharpened at once. This power allows you to eavesdrop on the conversations of others. If you can make out their voices, after marking your position you may approach them out of character and listen to what they are saying. However be aware that by sharpening your senses you become particularly vulnerable to loud noises and bright lights.
System: - Activate at no cost. However if a loud noise occurs near you or bright light is shined directly at you, checks are made at - 1 rank for half an hour
Aura Reading
Read the emotional state of 1 target. Also allows you to recognise whether the target is a Kindred or Mortal etc…
System: - Test your Perception + Empathy against a difficulty of 1. 1 Rank Success allows you to learn the emotional state of the Target, and gives you some general knowledge about the colours of their aura (See Aura Chart). A 2 Rank success enables you to determine whether the target is lying.

Rank 2: Expert
Spirit's Touch
By touching an item you gain insight as to the last person who touched it.
System: - Make a Perception + Empathy test against a difficulty of 1. For each successful test you may ask 1 question of the Referee. As soon as you fail, you may ask no more questions.
Telepathy
Probe the mind of a single target. With success you may probe surface thoughts, or retrieve a specific piece of information.
System: - Test Intelligence + Subterfuge verses your opponents Current Willpower. For each Rank success, ask a question, your opponent must answer truthfully.
Rank 3: Master
Astral Projection
You may have your soul leave your body and travel as an incorporeal entity. Your physical form will enter torpor for the duration of the experience.
System - Spend a willpower point and notify a referee.
