Scolfes is located in the village of Boreham Street on the A271 between Herstmonceux and Ninfield in East Sussex. Click <here for a map>.

We have a large private car park that you are welcome to use whilst visiting the restaurant.

From the South (Eastbourne): Go to the Pevensey roundabout, where the A27 from Lewes and Brighton meets the A259 from Hastings and Bexhill. Take the road from the roundabout that leads to Wartling and Herstmonceux. Pass through the village of Wartling and past the entrance of Herstmonceux castle. At the T-junction, take the right hand fork and turn right towards Ninfield. As you enter the village of Boreham Street, Scolfes private car park will be found on the left, with the restaurant forty metres further on.

From the West (Hailsham): At the Boship roundabout junction of the A22 / A267 and the A271, take the A271, passing to the North of Hailsham, through Herstmonceux and Windmill Hill to Boreham Street. Scolfes car park will be found on the left as you enter the village. Scolfes itself is a further forty metres along the pavement.

From the East (Bexhill): Take the A269 through Sidley and Ninfield. This then leads directly into the A271 to Boreham Street. In the village, pass the restaurant on the right hand side and, approximately forty metres further on, our car park will be seen, also on the right hand side.

From the North (Tunbridge Wells): Follow the A21 south to Johns Cross. At the roundabout, turn right onto the A2100 to Battle. As you enter Battle, at the roundabout, turn right onto the A271. Follow the A271 until you reach a T-junction at Hassards Green. Turn right, still on the A271, to Boreham Street. Scolfes will be seen on the right in the village and our private car park is approximately forty meters further on.

From the North (Heathfield): Follow the A267 south through Horam to the Boship roundabout. At the roundabout turn left onto the A271. Follow this road, passing to the North of Hailsham, through Herstmonceux and Windmill Hill, to the village of Boreham Street. Scolfes will be found on the right hand side with our private car park forty meters further on.
