Manila - 30th August 1997
The concert was great!!! It was supposed to start at 8.00pm, but started around 9.00 already, but it was worth the wait! The lads looked so great! And according to some people who met them, they were soooooooo nice. Back to the concert, they started with Strong Enough and had black jumpsuits on.
They were brill!!! Everybody was screaming :)! After, some of the lads kinda "stripped" the upper part of the jumpsuits, revealing black shirts under. Keith was the only one who kept his jumpsuit up the whole time...
The next song was What Can You Do For Me, then Here to Eternity, then Together (I think...) Basically, the steps were the same as the ones they did in Wembley ... but they looked so good doing it live. Next was Paradise. Ro's voice is sooooo brill! Then, they performed Father & Son and let the audience to sing. Hey, we were also great :)... Near the end of the song, Steve & Mikey went backstage. At the end, Ro and the other 2 did the same. Stevie came back in a white suit (my! did he look good!!!) and performed Don't Stop Looking For Love. He was so wonderful... Then, the other lads came out and they sang When All Is Said and Done. Same as Wembley, they were seated. And all of them were already wearing white suits! They looked so adorable! After, was Isn't It A Wonder. This was when I threw a cute green croc stuff toy to Stephen. He smiled at me and gave me this thumbs up sign (I was in Boyzone heaven!) then picked up the stuffed toy and hugged it! Aaaawwwwww! Well, Keith threw it back to the audience after a couple of songs, but I managed to find the girl who caught it and get it back :) Oh yeah, the croc smells sooooooooo good! (who knows what cologne Stevie wears?) Okay... Next was Picture Of You. I think they introduced this with Mikey asking everybody if we knew who Mr. Bean was.
Then the usual screaming :).... They changed to black and performed So Good, Believe in Me, I'll be There and Mo-town hits. (I'm not sure about the order anymore). Oh and somewhere in between, Shane got kinda mad 'coz Mikey and he asked the crowd to move back from the stage, but to no avail. It was just too crowded in front. Good thing, they didn't leave (as Bianca said in their concert there) Anyway, they sang Love Me For A Reason next, and Stevie did that ,urm, "Jacko bit" (I dunno what to call it!) same as in Wembley. But he did it twice! I think the first one was in What can You do For Me. (I can't remember anymore!) Well, they were saying bye after LMFAR, and Ro was laughing saying that this was probably the noisiest concert in their tour (uh, is that good or bad?...) and the crowd was screaming "Boyzone! Boyzone!.... we want more! we want more!" They came out and did Words. Ro let the crowd sing again...And last was A Different Beat. Of course, it was absolutely fabulous!...They were great, perfect...
