SHOPPERS’ SERVICE AND LUNCH CLUB

We meet on Friday 15th May at 11.45 am for the service in the church, followed by the Lunch Club at 12.15 pm to which all are welcome.  We will be glad to know of people able to help on the day.  Please add your name to the rota on the notice board in the corridor.  Thank you to all the workers.

MHA (Methodist Homes for the Aged) has gratefully acknowledged the £61 raised from the Goodie Table at the Lunch Club organised by Muriel Martin.  MHA offers older people opportunity and choice, including community support schemes, residential care, sheltered housing, nursing and dementia care.  None of this would be possible without the generosity and commitment of the people who support the MHA in many ways.

It is with sadness that we learnt of the death of Ethel Stockwell on 15th April  after some months in poor health.  Our sympathy and prayers go to Ethel's family at this time.
