Revised: 27-Jun-2009

The Bric-a-brac sale ahead of the Rainbow Fair will now take place on the morning of 12th September. The hall will be cleared immediately afterwards of any items unsold - by trailer to the local tip, or to our homes for "recycling" at the R/Fair for especially appropriate things.  It is hoped that this will help in two ways: first, to raise a little extra cash towards the expenses of the Fair, and secondly to enable the prime site in front of the stage to be devoted to the Christmas Food Market.

  • Toiletries               becomes          The Bath Shop
  • Cakes, pies etc      becomes          Christmas Food Market and Biscuit Bar
  • Stationery              becomes         Christmas stationery
  • Lucky Dip              becomes          Santa's Chimney
  • Jazzy Jars              becomes         Christmas surprises
  • Tombola                 becomes         Christmas Pantry Tombola
  • Preserves               becomes         Mainly marmalade and pickles
  • Bulbs                       becomes         Gardeners' Corner/World

Several members and friends have already started collect non-perishable items for these stalls, and we want everyone to enjoy this busy day and offer their help.  Please contact one of this year's organisers - or we may contact you first!  - and the names of the stallholders will be in the August magazine.

The organisers have designated 10% of the profit from the 2009 Rainbow  Fair  be given to the local Alzheimer's Society.

Wish us well in this venture and please give us your support!
