"Yes, believe it or not, we're going to do it again - hold a JIGFEST, that is. Last year's was so successful, both in terms of money raised and of enjoyment and atmosphere, that we cannot but do it again. The next JIGFEST will be at the newly-furbished Community Centre on Saturday March 20th 2010. Book the date now.
In the meantime, we need the same help as before:
1. Jigsaw puzzle assemblers, for something like 300 puzzles which need assembling in sections, and repacking into their boxes. We've re-written the instructions to make them a bit clearer. If you have not already been contacted and fancy doing a puzzle or two (or more!) let me know on 01923 267 391 or when you see me around. I'll bring some out to you with the instruction sheet and come and collect them when completed.
2. Offers of puzzles. We already have a lot, but we need more. In particular, we need children's puzzles, vintage ones, wooden ones, collectable ones, unusual ones. Some puzzlers collect puzzles made by particular artists or designed for special occasions. Anything of that sort would be great, but we can use any good quality ones.
3. Slaves to cut cardboard, trays etc or to help on the days before and on the day itself. It's early days, but let me know.
Exciting, isn't it!"
