Models from past exhibitions
In the exhibitions over the last few years, our members have
displayed some wonderful models. On these pages you can see pictures

Long Ashton Exhibition, Easter 2005
David Miller -model train based on a London Underground design.
Ralph Clark - beam engine. Also a fascinating model of the first commercial steam loco in America, built by George Stephenson.
Sam Medworth came with more of the Crazy Inventor’s range; the car, boat and helicopter.
Paul Montacute - clock in black and white , an Adams radial tank loco (or alternative view) and a steam road locomotive
Richard Collis - fork lift truck from a design in a 1955 Meccano Magazine.
Richard Smith - German half-track vehicle of World War II origin.
Pete Miller and Ian Lane had both made a Concorde.
Neil Bedford- Scammell explorer, a six-wheel cross-country vehicle.
David Northcott - orrery or(another view) and a gearing device, to produce a 59:1 ratio.
John Day, a set 3 model of the block-setter
Ron Garside - Supermodels Hammer-head crane and a Goods Warehouse with Electric Elevators.
Malcolm brought a blue/gold display - a complete run of late 30s style sets from a Number 0 to a number 10, with models of seaplanes built from each (a) (b) (c) (d). Also a model of boxers who really fight and a a Beam Bridge.

John Day, a Showman’s Engine.
David Northcott , an early motor bus made from red and nickel Meccano.
David Hobson had an early bus .He complimented this with some other vehicles of the period in the form of WW I tanks - a British, French and German example Finally he had a model of an early airliner in the form of a Handley Page HP42.
Neil Bedford had the 60s No.9 model robot, a Konkoly designed horse and cart and a superb six-wheel drive chassis with independent suspension and remote control.
Paul Montacute - a fairground roundabout featuring galloping horses -.
Richard Smith brought the latest incarnation of his block-setter.
Sam Medworth - Crazy Inventors series: bat and a walking boat!
Ralph Clark - North American mid-19th century loco called a Phantom that ran on 6ft gauge.
David Miller - monorail
Malcolm had an 8ft model of the Eiffel tower in blue/gold, and a shop display fairground model
