AMESBURY WALKERS
PERMANENT TRAIL CHALLENGE 2011

Each of the Permanent Trails has been given a ‘points score’ on a 2011 theme and each walk may be completed twice to qualify for the Challenge.  The aim being to amass at least 150 points to earn an award.    

Trails earning 20 points:  Shanklin, Wroxhall, Exeter City, Fishbourne, Winchester, Old Churches, Bath, Bristol, Settle, Old Sarum, Ludlow and Mt Batten.

Trails earning 11 points:  Kyra’s, Windmill Way, Two Chapels, Stonehenge, Yarmouth, Hereford, Mt Edgcumbe, Salisbury, Romsey and Round the Island.

The Challenge is open to anybody who feels they would like to participate.  Registration for the Challenge is FREE, except for the normal walk fee when completing the Permanent Trail.  Send Entry Form, below, with SAE to Tony Ash, 79 Chelston Ave, Yeovil, Somerset, BA21 4PT.  You will receive a card which needs to be initialed and dated by the walk organiser when you have completed the walks.  The Challenge will run from 1 January 2011 until 31 December 2011 and completed cards must be returned by 10 January 2012.  Awards will be available at end of January 2012
