Amble

The Amesbury Amble will take place over footpaths, bridleways and quite roads mainly to the south of Amesbury.

Venue: Amesbury Sports Centre, Holders Road, Amesbury, Wilts.
Start Times: 40km - 0800-0900;
                        30km -0900-1100;
                         20km - 0900 - 1100;
                        10km - 0900 - 1100.               5km - 0900 - 1100
                        All to finish by 1700.
Entry Fee: £2.00 - Entry and IVV Stamp.
                    £4.00 - Entry, IVV Stamp and Embroidered Badge
                    A Certificate will be available for an additional 50p.
A 5km route [Free entry!] will be available to encourage walkers to participate.

Awards will be presented to teams of 10 or more who have pre-entered by 5th October.
Entrants under 18 must have parental consent and be accompanied by a responsible person.
Walkers who in the opinion of the marshals will not complete their chosen distance within the time allowed will be asked to retire.
Runners and joggers are welcome to participate, but please note this is not a race and you will not be timed.
The routes will be waymarked with drink controls approx every 5kms.
All dogs must be on leads at all times.
A list of B&Bs can be forwarded on request.
The event does not fall within the scope of the Adventure Activities Licensing Regulations.

Each participant takes part at his or her own risk. The organisers are not liable for accidents, thefts, and/or damage to property. Every effort will be made by the organisers to make this a safe, enjoyable and memorable event.
